Poppy Collis wins best talk at this year's International Workshop on Active Inference
This year’s 4th International Workshop on Active Inference (IWAI 2023) saw a good representation for the ICAM lab. Both Miguel de Llanza Varona and Poppy Collis presented their respective papers: Exploring Action-Centric Representations Through the Lens of Rate-Distortion Theory and Understanding Tool Discovery and Tool Innovation Using Active Inference due to be published as part of Springer Nature’s Communications in Computer and Information Science book series. For her talk, Poppy Collis won the prize for the best presentation.
